Taska

Requests arrive by themselves right on the team's board

Clients write in messengers, colleagues from other departments in private chats, and someone copies it all into the tracker by hand. In Taska the team has its own service desk: a request lands in the right column by itself.

Updated

How it works

  1. The team creates a desk and decides which boards and statuses requests go to.
  2. A client, contractor or colleague opens the public link or the widget on your website and submits a request.
  3. The request immediately appears on the team's board as a regular task, with a description following the template.
  4. The team replies in the task chat, and the requester sees what is happening with the request.

What the desk can do

Description template

Instead of "it doesn't work" you get structured text: what happened, the steps, the expected result.

Routing

One form leads to several boards: the requester picks where to turn, or the task goes straight to the right queue without moderation.

Communication on your terms

Chat, files and a checklist with the requester are switched on separately. You can allow follow-up questions, or keep it to submission only.

Widget for any website

A support button goes on your site with one line of code and adapts to its theme and colors.

One desk in several projects

A universal form, such as "Approval request", serves several projects of the space.

No seats for requesters

Requesters don't need to be added to the project or paid for as team members.

Who it helps

  • Product support: user requests go straight to the backlog.
  • An agency or studio: client requests by project, without email and chats.
  • Internal departments: IT, legal and accounting take colleagues' requests through a form.

Frequently asked questions

Does the requester need to sign up?

Yes, to submit a request and follow it, the requester signs in to Taska. This way they see replies and history, and the team knows who it is talking to.

Can I put the desk on my own website?

Yes, with the widget: one line of code, and the button adapts to the site's theme and colors.

How is this different from a separate support tool?

Requests live on the same boards as the rest of the team's work: nothing has to be copied between systems, and the same automations and board links apply to the process.
