# Refunds

There's no refund button in Taska. To get your money back, email support@taska.be or message @i_podprugin on Telegram. Companies and sole proprietors only get back double or unauthorized charges.

## How to request a refund

How do I get my money back for a subscription?

Send a request to support@taska.be or to @i_podprugin on Telegram. No special form is needed, a regular message is fine. Include this information.

- The email address of the account the payment relates to.
- The invoice number, or the date and amount of the payment.
- The reason you're canceling, if you want to give one.
- Your refund details, if the money can't be returned the way you paid.

Where do I find the invoice number?

On the “Billing” tab, in the “Invoices” table. For your personal subscription, open the “User profile” window with the button with your name at the bottom of the sidebar. For a team, open “Space settings”, where the owner and admins see this tab.

If I cancel my subscription, will I get my money back?

No. The “Cancel subscription” button only turns off renewal: you keep access until the end of the paid period, and the money for it isn't refunded. To get money back for unused days, send a refund request.

## How much you get back

How much is refunded if I cancel before the period ends?

The part of the payment for the unused days of the period. It's counted in calendar days from the day your request arrives, minus the costs Taska has already incurred. This rule applies to individuals.

After such a refund, the subscription ends. The account or space moves to the free plan, and the monthly TaskAI sparks for this period expire.

When is the full amount refunded?

The full amount is refunded in four cases.

- The money was charged after you turned off automatic renewal.
- The money was charged after you removed your saved payment method.
- You couldn't use the paid features because of a fault on Taska's side.
- The payment was made by mistake, and you didn't use the paid features.

A full refund for a subscription ends it too. The account or space moves to the free plan without waiting for the end of the paid period. A double payment is the exception: if one invoice was paid twice, the second payment is refunded in full, and the subscription keeps working.

Can I get a refund for my own Pro while it's paused?

Yes, and you don't have to wait until your Pro starts working again. While you take a seat in a team on Business, your paid Pro is paused, and its remaining days are saved and aren't used up. You get back the part of the payment for these saved days, and the request is fulfilled within the usual 10 days. After the refund, your Pro subscription ends, and the Pro from your team stays as long as you have a seat in it. How the pause works is described in “[Personal and team plans: what applies where](https://taska.be/en/help/666-personal-and-team-plans-what-applies-where)”.

Do I get money back for a member who left the team?

There's no separate refund. The unused days of their paid seat are credited to the next invoice that includes seats, usually the renewal invoice, and the invoice gets smaller. If the subscription isn't renewed, the credit only reduces the extra charge for members added during this period.

If the person took a paid free seat, there's no credit. The seat stays paid for, and the next new member takes it at no extra cost. See “[Business seats: who takes a seat and how to change the number of seats](https://taska.be/en/help/673-business-seats-who-takes-a-seat-and-how-to-change-the-number-of-seats)”.

Can I get a refund for TaskAI sparks?

Yes. For a spark pack, you get back the cost of the unspent sparks, in proportion to their share of the pack. After the refund, the rest of the pack expires. A spark refund doesn't affect your subscription.

Do companies and sole proprietors get refunds?

No, except in three cases. If a subscription, team seats or a spark pack were paid for by a legal entity or a sole proprietor, the money isn't refunded, even for unused days or unspent sparks. This also applies to payments through SberBusiness or with a corporate card. The full amount is refunded in these cases.

- The money was charged after you turned off automatic renewal.
- The money was charged after you removed your saved payment method.
- An invoice that was already paid was paid a second time.

The credit for unused days of members who left applies to legal entities and sole proprietors too.

## Timing and method

How fast will I get the money?

The request is fulfilled within 10 days of the day you send it. After that, the money goes through the bank and the payment provider, which usually takes 1 to 10 business days.

Where will the money go?

It's returned the same way you paid. If that isn't possible for reasons outside Taska's control, the refund method is agreed with you separately.

What happens to the receipt?

Taska cancels the receipt for this payment and sends you a refund confirmation. In the “Invoices” table, the invoice gets the status “Refunded” or “Partially refunded”. If the second payment of an already paid invoice is refunded, the invoice keeps the “Paid” status.

## Subscription and data

Will my data be deleted after a refund?

No. The account or space switches to the free plan, and your tasks, articles and files stay where they are. Whatever doesn't fit the free plan's limits stays available to view.

Where can I read the full refund terms?

At the bottom of the “Billing” tab there's a “Refund policy” link. It opens the “Refund Terms” document. On the Taska website, it opens with the “Refunds” link at the bottom of the page.
