# How to subscribe to Pro

In Taska, you subscribe to Pro in the “User profile” window on the “Billing” tab. Choose a billing period, check the amount and pay with YooKassa. Pro turns on as soon as the payment is confirmed.

Who can do this

Everyone subscribes to Pro for themselves, and it applies only in your personal space. A team space needs Business, which the team owner subscribes to. See “[Personal and team plans: what applies where](https://taska.be/en/help/666-personal-and-team-plans-what-applies-where)” for details.

## How to subscribe to Pro

1. At the bottom of the sidebar, click the button with your name.
2. In the “User profile” window, open the “Billing” tab.
3. Click “Subscribe to Pro” in the “Pro Trial” section. If your trial has already ended, click the same button in the “Unlock Pro” section.

The User profile window: the Billing tab is numbered 2, and the Subscribe to Pro button in the Unlock Pro section is numbered 3

1. In the “Subscribe to Pro” window, choose the billing period: “Monthly”, “1 year”, “2 years” or “3 years”. Each option shows the price for the whole period, and the longer ones also show a discount.
2. If you have a promo code, enter it in the “Promo code” field and click “Apply”. The line “Discount applied” with the discount appears under the field.
3. Check the amount. On the right, the “How the total is calculated” section shows the plan price, the paid period with dates and the subtotal. The amount to pay is on the left under the promo code, in the “Total to pay” line.
4. Click “Proceed to payment”. The YooKassa page opens. Choose a payment method and pay.

The Subscribe to Pro window: the list of periods is numbered 4, the Promo code field 5, the How the total is calculated section and the Total to pay line 6, and the Proceed to payment button 7

When YooKassa confirms the payment, Taska opens again and shows the “Thank you for being with us!” window. It says the date Pro is paid until.

Pro costs 390 ₽ per month with monthly billing, and paying for a year, 2 or 3 years is cheaper. All prices are listed in “[Taska plans and feature comparison](https://taska.be/en/help/665-taska-plans-and-feature-comparison)”.

## What to know before you pay

- You pay for the whole period you choose, in advance.
- If you pay during your Pro trial, the paid period starts on the day you pay. The remaining trial days aren't added to it.
- Renewals are paid by invoice. Taska issues it 3 days before the period ends, and you can pay it on the same “Billing” tab.
- The receipt is sent to your account email. You can also open it on the “Billing” tab.
- The Pro subscribe button is also in the banner in the sidebar and in the reminder that your trial is ending. Both take you to the “Billing” tab. On the pricing page of the Taska website, the “Try Pro” button opens the “Subscribe to Pro” window right away, with the period you picked there.

Your team already gives you Pro

The checkout window says “Pro is currently provided by team” with the team name. You can still buy your own Pro, but the paid period starts when the Pro from your team ends. The days are kept, not spent.

Your Pro is already paid

If you open checkout while your Pro is paid, for example with the “Extend Pro” button on the pricing page, the window is called “Pay ahead for Pro”. The purchased time is added to the current period, and the window shows the date Pro will be extended until. You can't enter a promo code when paying ahead.

You came back from the payment page without paying

Taska shows the message “The payment was not completed. The invoice is still open”. The invoice waits on the “Billing” tab in the “Waiting for payment” section, with a “Pay” button. If it isn't paid within 72 hours, it's canceled automatically, and you can subscribe to Pro again.

The promo code isn't accepted

The reason appears under the field, for example that the code has expired or doesn't apply to this plan or period. Check the code and the selected period. If everything is correct, contact support as described in “[How to contact Taska support](https://taska.be/en/help/493-how-to-contact-taska-support)”.
