Source: https://taska.be/en/help/464-how-to-sign-up-for-taska Updated: 2026-10-28 # How to sign up for Taska To create a Taska account, enter your email and a password, accept the terms and confirm your address with the link in our email. If you sign up with Yandex ID, there's nothing to confirm. ## How to sign up 1. On taska.be, click “Start free”. If you're already on the sign-in form, click “Not registered yet?”. 2. Enter your address in the “Email” field. 3. Choose a password of at least 8 characters and enter it in the “Password” and “Repeat password” fields. A password made only of digits, a common one like qwerty123, or one similar to your email won't be accepted. To see what you typed, click the eye icon to the right of the field. 4. Tick both boxes at the bottom of the form. With the first one you agree to the processing of your personal data, and with the second you accept the Terms of Service. 5. Click “Sign up”. Sign-up form: the email field, both password fields, the consent boxes and the Sign up button are numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5 The “Email sent” screen opens, and a welcome email from Taska is on its way to your inbox. The Email sent screen asks you to check your inbox and your spam folder If you came from an invitation email The link in an invitation email opens the sign-up form with the message “To accept the invitation, sign up with the email address it was sent to”. The address from the email is already in the “Email” field, and you don't need to change it. After you sign up, accept the invitation in Taska, see “[How to accept an invitation to a team](https://taska.be/en/help/470-how-to-accept-an-invitation-to-a-team)”. ## How to confirm your email 1. Open the welcome email from Taska. 2. Click “Activate account”. If the button doesn't work, copy the link from the email and paste it into your browser's address bar. 3. The sign-in form opens with the message “Account activated successfully”. Enter your email and password and click “Sign in”. The account is activated, and you can sign in from any device. After your first sign-in, Taska asks you to choose a language and a theme and to enter your name. See “[First launch: the setup wizard](https://taska.be/en/help/465-first-launch-the-setup-wizard)” for details. ## Signing up with Yandex ID On the sign-up form, tick both boxes and click “Continue with Yandex ID”. Taska opens a Yandex page where you allow access. Your account is created right away, without an email. If your Yandex ID has a first and last name, the setup wizard is skipped. An account created this way has no password. To sign in with your email, for example in the mobile app, which has no Yandex button, set a password. To do this, click “Set a password” in the “User profile” window. See “[How to sign in or sign up with Yandex ID](https://taska.be/en/help/468-how-to-sign-in-or-sign-up-with-yandex-id)”. ## If the email doesn't arrive Check your spam folder and add noreply@taska.be to your contacts so that future emails from Taska don't end up there. If there's a typo in the address, sign up again with the correct one. Taska can't resend the email yet. You can't sign up again with the same address either: Taska will say that this user already exists.
